About this pack
Intermediate · 7 levels
Web & systems covers strings developers see every day: URLs, localhost ports, indented lines, git commit hashes, HTML tags, CSS colours and MAC addresses. It leans on alternation and counted repeats. Each board has near-misses that look right at a glance, like a git hash one character short.
The first board catches HTTP and HTTPS URLs like https://a.io and spares ftp://x.com. Later you catch localhost:8080, git hashes of 7 to 40 hex characters, tags that open and close with the same name, like <b>hi</b> but not <b>hi</i>, and MAC addresses like 00:1a:2b:3c:4d:5e.
Every level also has hidden checks: words you don’t see. Passing the words on screen solves a level; passing the hidden checks too ranks it.
The matching tag board needs a backreference, which the Groups & backreferences track explains. For more strings from servers, try Logs & ops.
