About this pack
Intermediate · 6 levels
Money & finance is about money in text: accounting negatives, currency codes, IBANs, SWIFT codes, interest rates and price changes. Each board uses a format that payment systems really use, where the length and the letter case have to be exact. Banks reject near-misses, and so do these boards.
The first board catches negative amounts written the accounting way, like (42.50), and spares -42.50. Then you catch amounts like 19.99 USD, IBANs like GB82WEST12345698765432, SWIFT codes of 8 or 11 characters, rates like 4.5% APR, and price moves like +1.25 (+0.84%), where a backreference makes sure both signs agree.
Every level also has hidden checks: words you don’t see. Passing the words on screen solves a level; passing the hidden checks too ranks it.
Formats like these appear in the Field work track. For more strict formats, try Format validators.
