Community guidelines

Regex Hunter is for people who enjoy puzzles. A few rules keep it that way.

Everyone

Be kind. Talk about patterns, not people.
No harassment, hate or sexual content.
Mark spoilers. Patterns that solve a daily or hunt go behind a spoiler.
Report, don't argue. Use Report and a moderator takes it from there.
Stay on topic. Regex, the game and puzzles. No ads or spam.
Publish fair hunts. Hunts must be solvable and your own. Hidden checks and hints follow the quest: no surprise rules, no answers in hints.

Breaking these can get posts hidden or accounts suspended.

For moderators

Moderators review flagged posts and new community hunts under Moderation, in the account menu. In discussions they can pin up to two threads, lock and resolve.

Act on the rules, not on taste. A blunt opinion isn't a violation.
Take the lightest step. Reply, then lock, then hide. Except hate, harassment or personal details: hide those straight away.
Stay out of your own cases. Don't moderate a thread you're arguing in, and don't review your own hunts.
Keep private details private. Never share anyone's email or personal information.
Unsure? Ask an admin. Reply to your moderator email.
