    ok this one's brutal and the d5 is earned. the move is a lookahead comparing each char to the one right after it.

    read the goal carefully — abab PASSES (no *adjacent* repeat). it's book/egg/hello that die on their double letters.

      yeah 'adjacent' is doing a LOT of work in that sentence. tripped me up for ages.
